Imagine a little known area, High Hesket, set in glorious countryside with easy access to the North Lakes, Southern Scotland, the Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland and beyond. If you enjoy walking, hiking, outdoor pursuits or just peace and quiet, this is an ideal base for you .... you can do as much or as little as you like! There is a barbecue hut available for hire and a small, safe children's play area on the site. Small and medium dogs are welcome - please contact us to discuss. Serendipity is double glazed and centrally heated to ensure your stay is comfortable no matter what time of year. The WIFI has been updated as of 09.10.23! There is a grassed area to the side of the caravan, with outdoor furniture to enable you to eat al fresco. We provide blankets for you to take outside to keep warm in the chillier months! Let us know your planned time of arrival and we'll make sure that the heating and hot water are timed just right, to ensure your comfort! Parking for one car is available alongside the property. PLEASE NOTE: Contractors, sign written vans and industrial trailers are NOT permitted to park on the site overnight. The site is licensed for holiday use only, Ullswater is just 20 minutes away from us, Keswick is around 35 minutes drive. Within 2 miles, there are four pubs that serve delicious food and are highly rated. Eden Valley Adventure Centre, Lowther Country Park, Ullswater Steamers, Carlisle to Settle Railway, Talkin Tarn are all on our doorstep. The picturesque village of Armathwaite is 2 miles away, where the River Eden and Coombs Wood are just asking to be explored and enjoyed - perfect for dog walking too! We'd highly recommend the area as a place to stay, come and see for yourselves!

We're also 11 miles from Center Parcs, Whinfell Forest; giving you the opportunity to stay close by and visit relatives who are staying there or, even better, make your break a two centre stay!!
