Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to others seeking a welcoming atmosphere and convenient amenities.

The self cooking occurs inside the igloo and was easy and delicious using an induction hob.

The accommodation provides bicycle parking and a shared lounge for guests. Highly recommend Totonou Guest House. We stayed for two weeks in this beautiful part of Hokkaido. The accommodation is very relaxed and an excellent home away from home to explore the quieter sides of the island. Ryuichi and Chiharu are excellent hosts, super lovely and friendly. You can ask them anything and they gave us so much local advice! The kitchen is great if you like to cook. It is also a good place for remote work, with a dedicated workspace and fast internet speed if needed. Other useful things… there is a train station and Seicomart close by and Ryuichi’s Mum and sister sell delicious onigiri two houses along!!!
