Unique and only possible because he knows the people.

Offering an all - Suite immersive, luxury, wilderness living experience in Sri Lanka, Ahaspokuna is located in Belihul Oya, 22 mi from Nuwara Eliya. Bandarawela is 17 mi from the property. The staff were superb. charming, kind and very knowledgeable. Avinka was incredible, his enthusiasm for the wildlife and leading us on our trek through the wilderness to find over 17 elephants was such a thrill. Mr Kumana was also so helpful and a great guide. the chef was very talented, considering we were in the jungle, the meals he created for us were some of the best we have had during our stay in Sri Lanka. Everyone we met during our two nights stay were just the sweetest people. The entire experience was fantastic and we totally recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy the joys of the Sri Lankan jungle with 5 star accommodation and food.

Offering river views, this fan-cooled tent has a private entrance, seating area and extra large bed with spring mattress. It includes a hot water shower, towel and shoe racks. This hotel stay was AMAZING! A little oasis during our safari trips in Udawalawe! The pool was fantastic break from the mid day heat, the restaurant had delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room was LOVELY; bed was comfortable, and outdoor concept for the bathroom/shower, and the air con could be as cold as you wanted it! Monkeys live on or near the grounds so it was fun to watch them swing through the trees. Staff was so nice and accommodating! Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay during your safari!
