Just 3 km North of the Pancake Rocks, Te Nikau Retreat offers a range of unique accommodation for everyone - self-contained cottages, Lodges and private rooms. Every building is nestled in the native west coast bush connected by paths. Owner (and dog!) were lovely. Room was clean and comfortable, nice and warm. (I was in the main building, so I can’t speak to any of the cabins.) The common areas were very cozy.

The mobile home includes a shared bathroom equipped with a shower.

Just 2 minutes’ walk from Westport's town centre, Bazil's Backpackers Hostel & Surf School is set in a quiet garden with hammocks. It offers free Wi-Fi and yoga lessons. Surfboards, mountain bikes, kayaks and paddle boards are available to hire and group trips can be organised. Guests who book and pay for a 5 night stay on arrival or in advance receive a free surf lesson. loved the whole vibe, very relaxing and friendly, super helpful staff. good hammocks. excellent cat.
