We loved the tiny house experience and the location was perfect. The tiny house had all the essentials and the caramel fudge was icing on the top, so yum !!! The host Andy was very friendly !

Set in park-like grounds on the shores of Lake Te Anau, 5 minutes' walk from the town centre, Te Anau Lakefront Backpackers has both mountain and lake views from the majority of the rooms. Female dorm for one night. I had to book super last minute and Hamish the manager/owner was so friendly and charming, went out of his way to help out. Very clean and calm vibe, not a party hostel. Bathrooms/kitchen both very clean. Very central, stones throw from Main Street.
