Located 5 km from the fishing village of Porto Covo, Monte da Cascalheira offers 3 separate rustic houses. Recently refurbished and surrounded by garden this country house includes an outdoor pool. Lovely well keep grounds and gardens. Our very large dog was made very welcome and enjoyed meeting the Donkey, Goats and Chickens! Room was perfect, comfy beds and good rural location to explore the surrounding areas such as Vila Nova do Milfonte and Porto Covo's beaches.

Restaurant had great food at a fair price and the live music on the Saturday night was beyond wonderful. I was sad to leave. I like the vibe and the concept and had a mature alternative crowd as well as travellers of all kinds.
