From our terrace, the pool and the dining area, the view is just fantastic. Food was also good, and from the hotel, there are so many nice hikes to go to before relaxing at the pool.

The bbq area is perfect. We were unlucky that we didn’t have better weather. Our host Manuel went out of his way to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The fresh rolls in the morning were very welcome and a nice touch. We would highly recommend the property if you are looking for peace, quiet and relaxation in the country.

The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, and some units at the hotel have a balcony. A gorgeous retreat in the heart of Gères National Park. We stayed in the glamping tents with our two dogs (retriever and Australian shepherd). Couldn’t believe the tents had air conditioning. This place is definitely a gem. They had a pool over looking the lake and the park offers all types of adventures from horseback riding to canyoning. And for those looking to relax, they also offered yoga classes, massages, and guided nature/river walks. WiFi reached everywhere, had great service. Staff was wonderful - they even gave us charcoal briquettes to grill! Highly recommend! I would come back in a heartbeat.

Featuring mountain views, Ermida Gerês Camping provides accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a bar, around 10 km from Geres Thermal Spa. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the campground free of charge. A tour desk can provide information on the area. The guy in charge was very nice and always available to assist. The facilities have the basics - toilets, hot water showers and fireplace; the cabins are just for sleeping with bed and table/chairs. Everything was very clean and organised.
