It felt like everyone from our guide, Prem, to our waitress, Barbra, were going above and beyond with their hospitality. We were completely enamored.

All units include a fully equipped kitchen and a seating area. I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

Built on an elevated riverbank, these luxury, canvas tent suites are set on stilted wooden decks. Each suite has wooden floors, leather and dark wood finishes and includes a minibar, a Nespresso coffee machine and lock-up safe. The suites are equipped with air conditioning and electric blankets. Jeffrey, our guide, was amazing! He made the safari experience such an unforgettable memory. Him and Brighton were wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable. We have been able to see all the Big 5. The staff was nice, the room perfectly clean, food was good and you get fed a lot.
