The location of Costa Lago is perfect. Right on the Playamar beach accessible through a secure electronic gate. Very safe and secure, its in a quieter area of Torremolinos - a more local crowd, with more domestic tourists / residential feel in the complex. The gardens are just STUNNING. Like a nature reserve with Ducks, Turtles, Parakeets, beautifully manicured grass and trees. Grounds staff always quietly pottering around. We loved sitting out by the pool, so peaceful, with the ducks for company! You bring your own chairs (provided) and there's always somewhere shady to sit. The ground floor apartment was so convenient, either going out the back entrance or front. The only thing I would say is the pool wasn't open until 11.30am during our stay which ruled out an early morning swim. The pool bar was convenient to have too which opened in the afternoons till night. Plenty of bars and restaurants within minutes including some great seafood ones on the beach. The apartment is modern and comfortable with everything you need - including some welcome treats on arrival. We had no need to contact our host during our one week stay.

The location of the apartment is excellent, it is a short walk (+- 10m) to the beach and very close to the train station (+- 3m). The apartment itself was very clean and had all the necessary items. The host was excellent, he will give you the keys and explain the whole apartment in details. He is very communicative and will help you explore Torremolinos with guides/tips and recommendations. Any questions you have you can always count on the host.

The owners Victor and Victor senior were both charming and helpful (they live next door). The apartment that we stayed in was cosy, traditional and ideal for two people. It has a lovely sunny terrace and is situated in a residential area. It is a 5 minute walk to the railway station with good access along the coast, the airport and Malaga city.

Additionally it is next to the beach and a Mercadona supermarket is between the apartment and the beach. But the best of all was the host, Miguel was super helpful on all matters. We would love to come back to that paradise.
