The property was well located close to the beach and golf club and was in a quiet location. There was a good choice of cooked meals for breakfast which were well cooked. The bar meals were also well cooked. The bar was had a good choice of beers and lagers and quiz’s held on two nights. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Because the ferry we were due to arrive on was cancelled we had to arrive a day later. The manager upgraded our room free of charge for the length of our stay.. the staff , rooms and food was excellent, the room was perfect, with a sea view (although the weather wasn't the best) the staff bent over backwards to ensure our comfort, and were very friendly. The food was excellent, and well presented. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to explore this beautiful island. (Or play golf!)

Location is very senic and peaceful. Three restaurants so great dining selection. The fish restaurant in the the original building was our favourite. Lots of activities. Two 25m swimming pools on site. Nice golf course close by. Good selection at breakfast. I would say this is probably the best hotel on Arran.
