What a lovely stay! Irene was so welcoming and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we could possibly need. The bedding and towels were of the highest quality and the flat had everything we could possibly need. A stones throw from the beach and all the restaurants, it’s the perfect find.

The. Appartement is pretty and well located .The neighborhood is very classy. the owner is very polite and nice. Shops are very near and opened till 8 PM.

The staff were so friendly and had a wonderful breakfast every morning. Close to all activities. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We would recommend it to any travellers looking for a home away from home during their travels.

Winelands Beach Cottage is a charming apartment with a private shady courtyard one block from beautiful Strand Beach. A short walk into town provides easy access to great restaurants and coffee shops. My hostess Carika greeted me and made sure I had everything I needed. She was always very helpful, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The house comes fully stocked and I cooked many meals in the large kitchen. There is a beautiful view of the mountains from the upstairs bedroom! Traveling as a solo woman, I always felt 100% safe. I used Uber to get around and can recommend Triggerfish Brewery, the Somerset Mall for grocery stores (and anything else you might need), and for restaurants, De Brasserie and Kapstadt Brauhaus. I tried going to the Vamos Portuguese restaurant but needed a reservation. It was very easy to explore the greater Cape Town area while staying in Strand! Thank you Carika, for a lovely stay!

A TRUE GEM! This is a 12/10 property if you are looking for a serene stay by the beach. We got a Luxury Suite option and it was a dream. The space is fabulous and the bathroom is a visual treat. Very safe area, with some lovely places to eat around. Fantastic little pool with sun-beds. The apartment has all you need for a short or long stay. We loved everything about the place and Dirk who hosted us was a true sweetheart. He not only let us check in very early after we landed, shared some Cape Town recommendations, prepared us drinks after arrival but also made sure to share daily news on load shedding and allowed for late check out. He didn’t have to do all this, so it only shows how amazing the level of service and hospitality this place has. All these stressed, greedy and non accommodating hosts should go to Ocean Breeze for a one week training to learn how to run the business. My only concern is that we couldn’t stay longer!
