Although the hotel is not a ski in or ski out hotel, the driver of the hotel delivered and picked us up by the slopes in a few minutes, no stress at all. The breakfast in the Green Farm Deli Cafe was really good, and they even had gluten free food! We will be back!

The location was scenic and peaceful, overlooking the coast, and easily accessible from Noboribetsu railway/bus station thanks to Hotel Izumi’s regular, free, shuttle bus. The beach was a short 15-20 minute walk away. Lovely grounds with small golf course. The Onsen was beautiful, with an outdoor pool looking down through woods to the ocean. The food was amazing, the staff were exceptional in accommodating my shellfish allergy, considering Hokkaido is famous for such delicacies. Our room was typical Japanese style, but plenty of space, comfy futons and a great ocean view. Just a small toilet room and sink in room, but full showers and toiletries downstairs in onsen. The staff were all charming and caring, good at communicating either with Google translate or gestures. We felt very relaxed and cared for here.
