The place was beautiful. The villa was kept very clean, neat and tidy. The host was very exceptional in welcoming us to their house. Would rate the stay 10/10, and would highly reccomend. The breakfast spread was lovely and very fresh.

Easy parking place. Quiet neighbourhood and within easy reach of de Veluwe or Hattem and beyond. Unit has a separate gated entrance with a small patio with table, chairs and umbrella (which we did not use due to increment weather). Room was spacious with a dining table and 4 chairs, 2 easy chairs, a kitchen with oven, stove, fridge and a dishwasher; double bed was in the room as well. Bathroom with a nice shower. Everything very clean and practical. Breakfast (worth the extra charge) was just excellent. We had breakfast for 2 days, and each day it was different. Lots of fruit & vegetables, bread and a croissant, and a warm boiled egg or scrambled eggs, etc. Freshly squeezed fruit juice. Cheese and ham. There is a Nespresso machine with coffee in the room. And, most importantly, the hosts were very nice and attentive.

The 5-star Hotel Restaurant de Echoput is located in the middle of the royal forest of Paleis het Loo. First, the facility was so comfortable and casually elegant . The staff was amazing and very attentive. The restaurant was off the charts. Had both breakfast and dinner there both days we were there.

We liked absolutely everything! If you are looking for a getaway this is the place to be. Here you can slow down and have quality time together. No tv, no radio, no busy city traffic, no light pollution. Before you panic: they do have wifi :) It's an o so charming tiny house in a green area with a suuuuuper comfortable bed and a nice, clean bathroom with a spacious shower. And don't forget about the sauna! Also the breakfast (delivered to your door) in the morning was perfect: just the right portion so you don't have to throw half of it away. Warm croissants and bread, eggs, fruit, ham, cheese, yoghurt, jam, fresh orange juice,... And I loved the fact that it was in reusable packages, so you don't end up with a lot of waste. I read in other comments about the train and there is indeed a train nearby but we slept like a baby. I am a light sleeper so I brought my ear plugs, my partner slept without and he didn't hear anything. There are also some animals around and I think that's part of the charm of the property. We would love to come back in spring or summertime so we can have the lovely breakfast outdoors on the little terrace. And if it would be a 1,5h closer to home I'm sure we would use this place multiple times a year as our favourite spot for some quality time as a couple.
