I booked 13 night stay based purely on the reviews and wasn't disappointed. Leon is a wonderful host. Comfortable clean room and facilities. Location is only a short drive to the nearest shop. You see kangaroos in the fields in the morning and evening plus all sorts of other wildlife. Will definitely be staying again next visit to Australia.

    Very friendly and professional host! Comfortable beds are bigger than at photos. Fruits, tea, coffee at any time was nice bonus. Beautiful house and quiet sleeping :)

    The tiny home was super clean and comfortable, all appliances worked and had great hot water! We had so much ease getting to the property with clear instructions from the host, Phil. He made us feel very welcome. The tiny home was very private! We also loved that there were sheep roaming around the property. Great location with only a 20 minute drive to Ballarat city for shops, food and activities ! Would definitely come back!

    I had the most wonderful one-night stay at this charming tiny house. The breathtaking view from the property was truly a highlight of the experience. The host was exceptionally accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. The tiny house itself was well-equipped and cozy, making it the perfect getaway. I can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to return for another visit!

    Leon was the perfect host. Very welcoming and made us feel at home. We had the king room, the bed was so comfortable and the room was bright and had everything you needed. Breakfast was laid out on the kitchen bench with wonderful hot coffee waiting on the stove for you. Cereal, yogurt, muesli, toast, fresh fruit, all absolutely delicious. Beautiful peaceful setting, and it was a 15 minute easy drive from Ballarat centre. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend Helens Homestead.

    The place is beautifully positioned in gardens and away from the road -so traffic noise is not a problem. The place is well presented and spacious, with comfy lounge area, and use of large kitchen. We enjoyed the quiet of the countryside, yet not too far from the city of Ballarat. The host Leon gave us a warm welcome. Generous provisions for breakfast are included.
