1. Costumer service. I never had a more welcoming, caring, professional host than Maggie. I mean WOW. Friendly, helpfull, never pushy or over the top, caring, proud, straightforward, I could keep going on... Amazing level of service. Which reflects on all items mentioned here below. 3. The atmosphere. It really feels like a home far away from home. No flashy and huge lobbies, no impersonal service, the converted bank building now oozes New England (US) style cozyness and the feeling of a home. I felt at ease 2 seconds after arriving. This is something big hotel chains can't beat. 4. A good bed. Good hard matress, very comfortable sheets. 5. A good shower. spacious, good shampoos, lotions etc... and the towels smell really really nice! 6. Good coffee. (but I must admit, I didn't have bad coffee anywhere in Bulgaria, Bulgarians take coffee very seriously it seems ;-) ) 7. The opportunity to meet people and have conversations. At breakfast you can join people at the large table, or choose to not interect with others and have your breakfast at a smaller table. Maggie is like diplomatic glue between people. 8. Breakfast. Varied, American inspired, but not per se your mainstream hotel fare. Loved it!

The room was spacious and clean. The landlord gave me the map of Varna, were I could spot interesting places at once. As a bonus feature the hotel is an old house from 1880's from the glorious days of Varna.

Very pleasant guest house with nice gardens, pool and a summer house. Good size room with a balcony and chairs overlooking the garden. No cleanliness issues. Quiet location. Restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining with an extensive menu. Adequate breakfast. Friendly and helpful host who parked my rental car for me.

The property has all the advertised facilities, plus a wonderful host. Everything was spotless clean and perfect for self catering: the kitchen is well equipped, with a big refrigerator with freezer, electric stove with oven, dishes and cleaning products. We also used the barbecue from outside several times. In the evenings it was very nice and quiet, as only crickets could be heard outside. The guests feel cosy and safe: you can park the car inside the property, behind an electric gate with remote control, and in the courtyard there are surveillance cameras. The Internet was also very good.

The location is perfect - very close to the beach, thr sea garden and the city centre, but still in a quiet place. It is right behind one of the main streets with cafes and restaurants, so you are staying at the heart of the city. The room had everything you need including AC. There is a small kitchen with a fridge and coffee machine. The room was on the 4th floor, but the host is very nice and helped me with my suitcase. I would recommend thr place to anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of Varna.
