One of the best locations I've ever stayed! In the winter, the guesthouse is only accessible by train or ski lift/gondola, giving you a very remote feel. Ski-in-ski-out accommodations are perfect for skiers, and you can get all the way to the town of Andermatt on skis. The views from the double bed with private bathroom room are phenomenal. Great wifi, cozy rooms, and phenomenal dinners (additional charge) each night.

I arrived late and the hotel was thankfully very accommodating to my late check-in. The breakfast is perfect: filter coffee, DIY cooked eggs, fresh bread, real birchner muesli. Highly recommended.

The country-style interior provides for a cosy atmosphere, ideally suited to relax after a day out in the fresh mountain air. Every morning you can enjoy a rich complimentary breakfast buffet before you set out for a great day on the slopes of Andermatt, which is also a very popular destination for Freeriders (ski season from the end of November until mid-April).
The hosts were very nice and drove us into Andermatt because there were no restaurants open on a Saturday night in town.
