Met me at the carpark - I would not have found the place on my own. Then she helped to organise transport to the airport which proved very challenging due to it being low season and almost no transport options available. The room was spacious, very quiet and great views over the rice terraces.

The hosts, Jason and his wife have been extremely friendly, helpful and in general very attentive to make it a throughout great stay. The hotel is just beautiful with it's wooden details and of course the rooms view is incredible. Even the food seemed to be better here, than in the surrounding restaurants. Apart from the hotel it's a super nice area with little villages between the rice terraces. Also great for day-hikes.JulianYoung couple

He arranged for the transport to and from Ping'an, and he helped me with all my questions. You do have to use a translator, but it was nice and easy, better if you have WeChat. The location of the hostel is perfect and the bed is very comfortable. There is also very nice food in the nearby restaurant which belongs to the same family. It was just perfect.

As i read in previous reviews he hooked me up with a driver and agent to order boat tickets, complately taking the stress and guess work out of organising an amazing trip when Chinese.speaking isnt your thing. Helen is a really good host and she speaks good English. Also helped us to book the bus and pick us up from bus station. The room is clean and very comfortable, with gorgeous view. The food in her restaurant is fresh and yummy, the service was perfect and there’s a lot of options for locals as well as foreigners. Espresso base coffee options are available as well, something not very common here.
