The Staff is very friendly, they work as a family and the food they serve is very traditional Chinese food which we liked a lot. The bath tub on the terrace was a blast, kids and us enjoyed a lot relaxing in a warm water tub after a long trip.

Just need to walk few minutes to be in the rice fields. 1h by foot to go to Longji and 4h to go to Dazhai (other villages). Home made meals were delicious (with local rice!). Host was also kind and she speak english.

The hosts, Jason and his wife have been extremely friendly, helpful and in general very attentive to make it a throughout great stay. The hotel is just beautiful with it's wooden details and of course the rooms view is incredible. Even the food seemed to be better here, than in the surrounding restaurants. Apart from the hotel it's a super nice area with little villages between the rice terraces. Also great for day-hikes.JulianYoung couple

He arranged for the transport to and from Ping'an, and he helped me with all my questions. You do have to use a translator, but it was nice and easy, better if you have WeChat. The location of the hostel is perfect and the bed is very comfortable. There is also very nice food in the nearby restaurant which belongs to the same family. It was just perfect.

As i read in previous reviews he hooked me up with a driver and agent to order boat tickets, complately taking the stress and guess work out of organising an amazing trip when Chinese.speaking isnt your thing. It’s a pitty there is not a good view. Rooms are not expensive , nice and clean. The extra costs, like luagage carrying , transport adds up. Breakfast was not great, nice looking sandwiches but with a lot of sweet mayonaise, in front prepared. But overall a nice stay. Location village is in the middle of the rice fields!!!
