The common area is full of boardgames and books and friendly travellers. Great place to meet people and a nice atmosphere. Amazing value best suited for solo travellers to Suzhou. Hot showers, and the beds are comfortable. Fantastic location as well, near to many shops and excellent restaurants, with markets down the lanes selling authentic Chinese products at discount rates. Great hostel experience overall.

Also, it is only 10 minutes away on foot to the metro station so it can be easily reached from the Suzhou railway station. The hostel itself is cute, with traditional architecture and a nice inner garden. The room was clean and luminous, but not very spacious.
