The kind helpfulness of our hosts. The view and setting Thank you to the amazing family who run the lodgings! They were very kind and attentive! The location is excellent! Highly recommended: The butterfly conservatory which is literally just a few minutes walk up the street is awesome with several stunning walks, views, and stories of its own. The amazing views from all around the property and neighbourhood! Pura vida!

The ambience is great. The staff at the Nepenthe were very helpful. The Phoenix restaurant is great too. Juan, the maitre d', was charming and so so helpful; played a large part in sorting out a badly mozzie eaten foot by providing flasks of mango leaf infused hot water in which I soaked my foot. The cacao tour is really worth it and the guide is incredible he knows everything about nature in Costa Rica ! It’s the 3rd time I stay here and I would stay there again and again!
