The cute city centre with its pedestrian area is close as well (5-10 minute walk). There are also a couple of bus stops to start a free ride to the national park.

Not a supermodern butique-Hotel, but everything was whole and very clean! The room was very comfy and quiet, we could here the neighbors when we were in the hallway but not in our room. The staff was super friendly and helpfull. Sadly they didn’t have breakfast when we stayed there (I think because it was off season) but it wasn’t a problem to find somewhere in the city center which was right outside the door. It's located within a pleasant walking distance of the centre of town, but far enoguh out to be a quiet and pleasant area. The view of Bad Harzburg is just stunning and I was lucky enough to see some incredible sunsets there. The host was exceptionally friendly and polite, and had some fantastic recommendations for sights around the area. I thoroughly recommend this property. :)EvansSolo traveller
