The location is beautiful, rugged (the drive is phenomenal) and the beds are cosy. The staff in the evening were really friendly. We stayed in the annex and woke up in the morning to breathless views. The local town is quieter in September with dramatic hiking. If you are thinking of moving around whilst on the Faroe Islands, this is a good stop over. Breakfast was also generous with salmon and various buffet options. I like to eat a hearty morning meal and I left satisfied.

What a beautiful location! We stayed here for one evening to celebrate our daughter’s birthday with a great meal in the restaurant. It was fantastic, and we’ll worth the drive! We hiked in the area, enjoyed the beautiful location of the guest house and had both a lunch and dinner in the restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, with a parking area accessible if you are driving. Very highly recommend it as a lovely place to stay and eat.

We stayed in the annexe which is a little further down from the main building, but what a view from the room!! Probably our favourite thing about this place. The annexe rooms are a bit basic, but comfortable and quite spacious. Great location too as it is just a short walk from the natural harbour where we found puffins! Breakfast was great, and we had dinner here one night and the food was amazing! You have to book dinner in advance though as they are quite popular.

Really idylic guesthouse in a quiet Faroese seaside village, very out of the way. Views are stunning, as usual on these islands. This is a good place to stay after (or before) hiking Slættaratindur, the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands. Friendly staff, were able to make me a nice dish of roast potatoes, able to accommodate a vegan diet.
