The overall accommodation was spacious with good facilities. Stairs to the loft bedroom area a little steep. Nice modern bathroom. Downstairs lounge area was adequate. Really lovely breakfast taken in the host’s home. The host was very friendly, helpful and lovely to talk to. The host helped with a good recommendation for dinner at a nice restaurant right on the river in Gien town, 10 klms drive. We sat over breakfast for quite some time and had wonderful conversation. I felt very comfortable and relaxed, like she was a good friend.

Lovely location and delightful hosts. Beautiful building with superb views. The breakfast was delicious, and we also had a lovely supper the evening we arrived. Will definitely visit again, and highly recommend.

We arrived on a Sunday evening, but the hosts were able to suggest a couple of places we could get something to eat. We had a big room with a double bed and a pull-out bed, both of which were perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, with a lot of personal touches like a little gadget to cleanly take the top off a soft boiled egg! We were made to feel very welcome and we enjoyed our overnight stay in this pretty town.

Wonderful choice of bread, croissants, jam, honey, yoghurt, fruit juice, fresh fruit and many other items. Tea (various types) and coffee and biscuits provided in the room. Tiny fridge with bottles of water.
