The location is great. It's close to the city centre and the old castle ruins. There is a bus that goes to the beach not far from the apartment. The studio also has a spirit of its own. It's spacious but crude. I really enjoyed this aspect of it. You can get a feeling for how it is to live in a mediaeval apartment.

Also the studio was really clean and tidy. It was my 2nd time and I really like le Surplage. Great host, clean studio with everything you need and a great location direct on the beach. Location is 10 min drive to the nearest beach, or city centre or harbor. It’s also a perfect place to stop if you are a kiter:) wifi worked perfectly. I can just recommend
