Lovely quiet room with a private enclosed balcony with large windows where you can enjoy breakfast with views of the water. This is a family’s apartment that has been divided into two areas - their private quarters and then the other half has 2 rooms available to rent. A bathroom is shared between the guests in both rooms (private/non-communal style) and has the toilet separate room from the shower/sink room which is good if someone needs access to the toilet while another guest is using the sink/shower area. Hosts use a separate bathroom in their private quarters. Around the corner from the building is a small boat marina with nearby beaches/restaurants and a small supermarket in easy walking distance. Guests will likely receive a phone call from the owner prior to arrival, ensuring guests understand the accommodation type and the terms of the stay (curfew/security deposit). The couple who rent the rooms are amazing, friendly, and very caring. They even offered to get me care for an injury and upon departure, even carried my bag to the taxi since I was still having difficulty walking. Husband speaks English well, wife speaks French. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. I had no issues with payment or security deposit. The entrance is directly behind the sheltered bus stop - call on arrival and the owner will ensure you can find the correct door and give you access to the building.

My room was nice and clean and the view from the terrace is beautiful. There are rooms with shower rooms, but my room’s shower and toilet was outside of the room. I wouldn’t usually go for something like this, but as I was only staying 2 nights and it wasn’t a holiday, I thought it would be okay. It was!! Both were clean and we were the only ones using the shower. Sophie, the host, is amazing. I had to call her beforehand to get a taxi number and during our stay she was friendly, helpful and attentive. I felt calm, safe and happy the whole time.
