With a traditional restaurant and real ale bar, Staunton Arms offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi. This historic pub is situated in Staunton in the Vale, surrounded by scenic Nottinghamshire countryside.

Guests can enjoy classic British cuisine in the elegant restaurant, including seasonal and local produce. The cosy bar offers hand-picked ales and a large selection of fine world wines.

Great hotel on the way to York. We stayed overnight in what looks like a typical English inn: the pub on the ground floor which serves great food both inside and in the terrace. Our accommodation was huge, with two separate bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and bathtub, we also found the play station with numerous games for the happiness of my two children. The staff are friendly and helpful despite my poor English ... great freshly prepared breakfast. If you are looking for a hotel in this area you could not make a better choice ...

Everything, perfect for our needs. The suite had everything we required and is very comfortable. We enjoyed the continental breakfast left for us and treats. The setting is picturesque with an abundance of flowers even though we stayed in October. Our hosts are welcoming and kind, all our needs were met. The location is idyllic and there was no need to cook for ourselves as the adjacent pub serves both lunch and dinner. we enjoyed walking around the village and felt welcome. Overall a great find in a charming village.

570+yr old manor house with lots of interesting original features including sloping and creaking floors. Quiet location. Very pleasant host who allowed us to park our bikes inside the house overnight. Great breakfast and stopover. Cyclists need to bear in mind that the local pub is shut on Mondays and Tuesdays.

everything! from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The manor had such a warm and welcoming feel and even though it is a professional business we felt as though it was completely family oriented and personal. Our room was beautiful, very clean and warm and with some little personal touches that added to our stay. it was very quiet and the host couldn’t have been more helpful. a very relaxed night away and we would 100% recommend.

Everything! Kate and George had thought of everything. The apartment was first class and had been renovated to a very high standard. Full kitchen, comfortable bed and luxury bathroom. Breakfast was provided by our hosts and topped up throughout the week as necessary. Great location to visit the area including Belvoir Castle, Rutland Water, Belton House, Melton Mowbray to name a few. Plenty of walks from the property and a great pub next door.
