This was a very comfortable place to stay. We stayed in 6 different locations on a 2 week tour of England and frankly this was the best bed of any place we stayed. The room was so comfortable. Loved our stay in this recently renovated hotel. We hiked in Whinlatter Forest and explored Keswick, The Ruddings was situated perfectly in the middle. The staff were very helpful, food was delicious, and as someone traveling in a car, there was plenty of parking!

Pete and Katie are such gracious hosts, they made us feel very welcome and were always around to help, serve and chat. B&B is very quiet, clean and comfortable, great for couples, and is a good 'base' location for visiting the northern and western Lakes. We had a great stay!

Location was incredible, we had a lakeside view out of our window. Our hosts couldn't have been lovelier or more helpful. The guest house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. We were made lovely fresh breakfast and as a vegan I felt they really went out of their way to ensure my breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and even tried out scrambled tofu for the first time on me which was greatly received. Would definitely stay again!
