A very friendly well run hotel in a lovely part of the world. The breakfast and the dinner were invariably excellent with many options available. The family who run the hotel made me feel incredibly welcome. It was also clearly a popular spot for locals to come and have dinner or organise celebrations.

The room had everything one could ask for and it was very cosy. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide selection of different food options. The place is located close to the railway station and a walk to the town centre will only take about 5 minutes. I'll happily rebook it if I ever visit Dumfries again.
