The best inn I have ever stayed inn! It's a 1500s building and it is gorgeous and fascinating inside. So much to look at, lovingly and tastefully restored and preserved. See pics. Fantastic staff. I didn't use the pub / restaurant but it looked superb. I did have breakfast which was 10 out of 10, see pic. The location is in the heart of the historic old town, all the streets are narrow and quaint, I managed to find parking up the street, but the whole area wasn't designed for motor cars. Be aware that the many steep stairs are not suitable if you have mobility issues or heavy suitcases, so if that's you call them to discuss your options. See the pic of the paper they gave me to help me navigate the labyrinth! Overall the best historic property I have ever stayed in, and I have travelled a lot. Don't miss staying here!

I didn't expect much, looking at the photos. But I literally cannot recommend this place enough. It was fantastic for the price I paid. Perfect location for getting a bite to eat. A really nice girl checked me in quickly and easily. The room was very basic, but had everything I needed for the night, and it was so cheap at just £55. Nice a quiet, I got a good sleep. 10/10
