Beautiful location. Very easy to find. The Lodge is a perfect little hideaway. The owners are friendly and welcoming. I loved the firm bed, smart TV, fast broadband, Fridge and Chocolate! I'd definitely stay again, it's very good value.

Everything, such a delight to stay at this property. Wonderful warm greeting on arrival, Carol and Peter were great hosts. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent. Location was close to the water and very handy for our touring. So happy we chose this great little hotel to end our UK travels at.

Amazing cooked to order breakfast. I was in a small single room with shared bathroom which is perfect if you are on a budget. 10 minute walk to the train station and 1 minute to the beach, shops, busses, pier, arcades etc. There are also large rooms for families and couples.

The host, John, was absolutely amazing and made us feel right at home immediately. He was very flexible and accommodating and made everything feel so easy. Barnfields Retreat is a stunning house set in its own large grounds. The property was a true Retreat free from any noise but within easy reach of the coast.

Therefore there was a limited breakfast provision but there was a fair choice within the continental breakfast offered. The host was very welcoming and took the trouble to remember our names and to let us know that we needed to collect our keys during the day as he was out in the evening. The setting is quiet with lots of garden space and we enjoyed the relaxing nature of the venue.
