Super great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Tea, milk and Prosecco stocked. The pub downstairs is so much fun! You can hear it very well but it wraps up by 11 ish on weekends and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Staying above a classic pub was such a fun experience and reminded us of the classic shows we would watch. We also chatted with the kitchen staff next door as we passed by each time, great banter. Loved our time here!

I had a warm and welcoming stay at Charnwood - my room and the premises were beautfully presented and maintained. The location was great- a short picturesque stroll along the River Lim takes you to the beach front or town. Breakfast is included each day along with a good chat with Ruth and Phil who offered advice on things to see and do. Wifi was strong with no connectivity problems.

We had some issues with booking.com’s messages which meant I was unable to access the door code but a quick call to our host and the problem was sorted straight away. The cottage is perfectly positioned to be close to town but also away from the busyness if you want a quiet place to retreat to

Nice of host to offer a small milk in fridge ready for a morning cuppa. Very attentive and kind host, who is quick to reply and happy to talk through any questions you may have. The apartment is such a great location, right in the middle of all the shops but quiet, while being only a few seconds walk from the beach which you can see in the distance from the windows. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the future.
