A simply wonderful family-run small hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms, very comfortable bed, lovely big bathroom, everything spotlessly clean. Outstanding food - the chef is a dream. Fresh produce from the garden cooked with creative perfection. Murdo was a wonderful host - very friendly and helpful with great tips on how to have the best time in Portree. Highly recommended!

The room is exactly as described. The owner is very friendly and informative. The room is small but very efficiently organised. The table, dishes and cutlery appear out of nowhere - well designed foldable table. Breakfast items provided too. If we ever come back we would stay here again

The views were stunning and only a short stroll to the main part of town, but far enough to feel separate from the busier areas. The guest house had everything I needed and the hosts added nice touches to make it even homelier. Very warm, accommodating and a place to chill after being out and about all day. Breakfast was lovely too.

Guest house is run very efficiently, and nothing too much trouble for our hosts. A short drive from the town of Portree, and so nice to be in a quieter more rural area for the night. We enjoyed the horses in the surrounding paddocks. All in all, a great little spot.

There’s a kitchen which has microwave and oven very convenient if you would like to heat up food. I would say it’s worth the money as the room is comparatively cheaper than other hotel but it has a great room with everything you would need for a short stay.
