It was worth the stay just for Graeme's encyclopaedic knowledge of Silloth and it's history, as well as Solway railways. We had a most enjoyable & comfortable overnight stay with an excellent host, & great chef who provided a beautifully cooked breakfast and imaginative dinner menu which was very good value. Green View Guesthouse is also in a perfect location - central, in a historic building and even very close to the bus stop!

From the minute I booked our stay , Dawn, the host, was in touch she was very helpful and friendly. It was in a brilliant location for us , the site was very quiet. The caravan itself was very clean , lots of little welcoming extras, it was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this caravan. Thank you Dawn it's been great.

Wonderful welcoming and knowledgeable host; lovely breakfast. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating and the premises more comfortable. We would recommend this guesthouse and its proprietors without reservation. Perfect.

Dawn is an amazing host who goes the extra mile to ensure you have everything you need for your stay, even providing snacks and drinks etc ready for when you arrive. The caravan is spotlessly clean and is in a lovely quiet location on the park. We can definitely recommend you won't be disappointed 😍

The caravan was immaculately clean, supplied with toiletries, condiments, towels and refreshments. Great location with lots to do for families. Dawn was a fantastic host, she went out of her way to make sure we were happy and comfortable and was very quick at responding to any enquiries.

Proper old school guesthouse that you rarely find anymore - fabulously decorated, G&Ts in the lounge, in-house restaurant with tasty home cooked food. Host was charming and very knowledgeable about the local history and area. Bedrooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Silloth is a cute place and definitely worth a visit, even if it's long past its heyday.

Don’t be misled by the use of the word “guest house” to describe the Green View in Silloth. The excellent hosts (Graeme and Archie), facilities, cleanliness, location, restaurant food, room size, value for money and the overall presentation of this establishment far exceed any comparable Hotel. The next time I am in the North of England for business or pleasure I would certainly be willing to drive an hour out of my way to again experience such high standards. Well done to the owners/hosts, you have the whole package spot on.
