Boasting a garden and views of sea, Rylstone Manor is a guest house set in a historic building in Shanklin, 100 metres from Shanklin Beach. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. The guest house features garden views and a sun terrace.

Rylstone Manor Hotel is a fabulous period hotel located in tranquil gardens in old Shanklin, near the chine. It is what I would term an "old school" hotel but I don't mean that in a disparaging way - it is a peaceful and comfortable building built in 1863, and the owners have obviously gone to great lengths to preserve the fine characteristics appropriate to the age of the building. The hall, sitting room and breakfast room areas all exude old world charm, with a wide staircase leading you upstairs to a large landing and equally well appointed rooms. The owners have decided to retain their Covid-style breakfast ordering - guests submit their choices the night before from a very extensive menu, and breakfast is ready when you come down at your requested time. It all works very efficiently and the breakfast quality is really superb. How do you get those egg yolks so orange ??!! Our room and en-suite bathroom were both very comfortable and well appointed, all in all we had a very relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable stay. We will not hesitate to book again on our next visit to the island.

Joan and Chris are exceptional hosts and are always on hand. We were offered tea and biscuits on arrival which we found very welcoming. Hayes Barton is wonderful, spotlessly clean, comfy beds and in a peaceful area near Shanklin Old Village. The breakfasts are varied and delicious with lots of choice. We would thoroughly recommend

Based in the heart of the popular seaside resort of Shanklin on the Isle of Wight, The St. Leonards Guest House offers free on-site parking, free Wi-Fi access and a bar. A haven for walkers and cyclists, more than half the island is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The perfect place to rest. Peaceful, clean, has everything you need. Great location 5 min walk from the centre and the sea. I escaped the business in London to relax a bit, and this place really helped me to do so. The owner is very kind and tried to meet all my needs. You also have included a nice breakfast with different options. I went for the English breakfast and was freshly prepared at the moment. The single room on the top had a lovely compfy bed, a nice and clean bathroom, and 2 windows which is not obvious for smaller rooms like a single. There is also outside space where you can relax, have a drink. I am really happy with the whole experience, will come back. Shanklin is a beautiful town, and you can easily go anywhere from there with buses if you don't have a car like me. One of the bus stops (the coaster) it is just in front of the guest house.

A lovely apartment in a beautiful house, just opposite the park. The hosts were both charming and helpful. A quiet location within a short walk of Ventnor, and with access to the coastal path through the park opposite the property. There are some great restaurants in Ventnor, and lovely walks around the area. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Great host, made us feel very welcome, offered to go out of his way to ensure that we saw as much of the island as possible. Great breakfast, lovely situated building, quiet and a nice town to explore. There were some delights in the room on arrival that were unexpected and yet very welcome.

Really, great location, with a great host who provides nibbles and a drink for arrival and sought to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. If you have a dog the 'doggy' basket with a few essentials was a nice touch. All you could need to self cater too. The views from the cabin at yhe top of the garden were great. All round definitely a great base to explore from and come back too, with parking a stone throw away. What was not to like.
