Great location, very quiet and across from the New Inn which serves excellent meals. Breakfast was plentiful and filling. Ann is a great host who looks after you.

Wow, what a place!Very clean and cosy apartment located in a lovely quiet area with a wonderful views. And the owner is very friendly and welcoming and does everything to make you feel comfortable, even very tasty and nicely served breakfast. I would honestly struggle to find any fault with The Rising Sun. From the moment we arrived and were shown to our lovely sea view room, the doggie bag of treats for our furry friend, the unmissable food, the brilliant bar staff, ample full English, lovely and kind lady that was cleaning downstairs at 7.30am when I took the dog put, right through to the biscuits in the room, our stay was perfect. The room was sparkly clean, we had a lovely big bath tub, it was quiet but fun...like a weekend away with old friends - everyone was great and did an excellent job. The best hotel experience in years, thank you
