Avalon is a secure and safe guesthouse to stay. 24 hour guards, it's a quiet and friendly place to stay. We loved the pool with fresh towels everyday on the beds. The position nearby the Arch is very useful to visit Banjul. By foot it's possible to get the centre and the ferry to the north. I appreciated the billiards free . The pool, not big, was very well maintained. I used the airport shuttle service in the deep night: not cheap but efficient and useful.
