If you want to visit the Sekumpul waterfalls in the morning, this is the perfect place for you. The cabin is located around 5 minutes from the entrance (where the stairs start) and close to the water slide as well. The host can help you with a guide at a very good price (we recommend getting a guide as the path to the waterfalls is not very obvious). The house is pretty remote, but there is a warung close by (Fiji Warung) and the host can help with meals as well, we had indonesian dinner delivered to our room.

Can really only repeat and highlight the comments from others - this was our second time in Munduk and the Villa Manigelang offered an absolutely memorable stay. We booked two rooms as a group of four - both of which offered incredibly spacious accommodation, clean and all the key essentials you need. The view was simply stunning both during the day but especially at sunrise and sunset. We felt extremely welcomed, Rio and his friend Shovia who worked front of house made sure to see to all our needs. Lastly the food - wow… We have been travelling in Asia for 8 months, 7 weeks in Indonesia and the food cooked by Kashia (mum) was truly delicious most certainly the best we have had at a property (outside a restaurant). Only problem we didn’t stay long enough to try everything although we gave it a good try! A massage is also a must!

This is an active farm stay with surprising facilities and right next to the famous Aling Aling Waterfalls only 10 minutes walk right on your doorstep ! The farm owner and his family where incredibly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble , with food prepared from produce from the farm and fresh coconut this place is incredible and I will definitely return to this magical place
