The location was ideal for spotting Aurora Light! The guest house has a wonderfull view and it is a sheer enjoyment sitting in front of the window enjoying the sea and snow mountains at day, and hunting for aurora light in the night. It was almost a guarantee to see the aurora light (weather permit) just a few steps aways from the house, or even sitting inside the house when you are lucky enought that the light shows up in the right direction. We first planned to stay one night snd then we ended up staying here for 4. We got a lot of snow and wind during the day, but just looking at the snow flakes flying in the wind was pleasing enough. Highly recommend this place to those who enjoys tranquility and aurora light spotting.

Excellent location of the hotel, just in front of the small harbour. The view from our room was spectacular. Very good size of a room, although bathroom could be a bit more updated. Very quiet though, so you will get a very good sleep. Breakfast was very good and you need to choose it as there are not many alternatives for breakfast in town. Owners were super helpful and polite. Had a great chat with them and they gave us very helpful advice for our trip. Easy free parking at the side of the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice homestay with all the amenities needed for your stay. Quiet, clean and traditional property with a very friendly and helpful host. Pingeyri is a lovely little town as well :) highly reccomended
