A beautiful, quiet location close to the lake and mountains. My room was spacious with a modern bathroom. The owners are very friendly and offered their garage for my motorcycle in case it rained during the night. The breakfast was very good with fruit from their garden.

The host, Francesca, was very personable and accommodating. She provided our transportation to and from the train station and answered all of our questions. Her dog keeps the guests company at the villa in the mornings and he is so cute. The Villa was quiet, clean, and comfortable. We loved staying in Colico which had minimal tourism compared to other places on the lake. It was the most relaxing stay we could have had in Lake Como!

The room was spacious, clean, and had a balcony with an unrivaled view of Lake Como where you can watch the sunrise and sunset in a quiet, less touristy part of the region. Could have easy spent the entire day there watching the lake. The breakfast was also a good mix of savory and sweet Italian breakfast foods. The owner himself was super friendly and accommodating to us arriving late past the normal time to check in. Will stay again if I ever return, thanks a ton!

About 200m from apartment or less. Nice bakery, Buongustaio only 300m from apartment, if that. A small supermarket, La Gran Bottega, and our favourite restaurant il Faro, great places, must visit.

Our stay was so relaxing and the house very comfortable with everything we needed and more. The house itself was charming and very clean. Having a car may have made getting around easier if we had been staying for longer but it gave us the opportunity to just rest in the peaceful surroundings so we were very happy here. At the end of a campsite it offered a safe place to park the car and had everything we needed for a one night stop over. It was actually so comfortable we stayed and extra night, with a walk along the beach to a selection of restaurants and a water bus to visit other towns around the lake. The lake was shallow some way out and great for swimming. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

The hosts presented a bottle of wine and raspberry jam upon arrival. The jam was excellent, the wine was not for everyone. The hosts are friendly and completely go to meet the wishes of the guests. Giovanni is a great host and we loved the house, the nearby beach (3 min walk through the forrest) and the quiet location. Piona beach (1 km) is an excellent windsurfing site, Collico offers bars, restaurants, grocery shopping and two windsurfing schools. Hiking on the ersten shore of the lake is nice (good accessability by car and great views down to the lake).

He invited us for a day of sailing on the lake as it was an incredible experience. He also gives you tips on where to go and where to eat.
