Quiet and very welcoming place close to the beach

The decor, the location, the ambiance, everything was just magical. Rooms were exceptionally decorated and were very comfortable. The views were exceptional overlooking Monterosso bay and town. The walk down to the old town was magical and breathtaking. Though the property was a bit far from the beach and was very quiet, I wouldn’t recommend young couples to stay here but was perfect for older couples who want peace and quiet and love natural surroundings. The lady (Thamara) at checkin was the most lovely and helpful lady. She made sure that we were comfortable after we checked in.

Unbeatable location, exceptionally clean and feels like it’s been freshly renovated. Only thing was the check in time is on the late side. Although the good thing is storage was provided when check in was not yet ready. I was surprised how good the sound insulation was as it’s located at a great centralized location but it was still wonderfully quiet once you’re inside.

This lovely place could not have been more perfect. The generous amenities, from the bag of beach towels and the stocked fridge to the lovely pressed sheets just pushed the experience into beyond wonderful. Breakfast was everything you could possibly want and more than you need. The staff and owners were very dear. Go, you will not be disappointed!

This place was a pure 10! Location, very clean, updated, several extras for Europe-juice, water, toiletries, a terrace, daily cleaning, WOW. Also Montessoro is the best place to stay of the five cities as you don’t have to bring your luggage up any steps. Mia Chi is a ten min walk from the train stop and it’s not uphill. Five mins from the beach. 10 mins from the trail.

Room and premises were very clean with all the right necessities. Good strong shower and hair blower which was greatly appreciated and good recommendations for dinner. I had some difficulty with the approximately 30 steps as the apt was on top floor, but I managed and Giorgio was very helpful in bringing up my suitcase. Location of building was perfect, very central and easy to find. After visiting all the villages, I was very happy I chose Monterosso as our home base because it had the greatest amenities, great restaurants, beautiful churches, the largest of the villages, a nice beach with umbrellas and above all, it is not hilly! We parked in the Loretta carpark, arrived at 4 pm and 3 spots were available. We stayed 2 nights and visited all the villages in one day by express train which I highly recommend as trains pass every 20 min. We bought the train pass, 18 E for the day at the ticket office by the train station. Overall a fabulous 2 days and a very satisfactory stay at Marianna Quiet Rooms.
