The suites are just on the corner of a lovely old cathedral square leading to the main shopping street. There are plenty of restaurants within a minute or two’s walk. The room was spotless and well designed, also with coffee maker, mini fridge and safe. The fridge was thoughtfully stocked with free treats. There is a wrap around balcony with beautiful views of the top of Etna (especially at sunrise) and the sea and is a fab place for people watching with a glass of wine. Frederico has thought of everything to welcome guests. He messaged several times to check that everything was ok and offering restaurant choices. The suites are about 15-20 min walk to the cable cars which go to beautiful beaches for swimming or snorkelling. By the way, the bed was super comfy 😊

A spacious apartment with great beds and modern bathroom and exceptional general cleanliness. Be informed, the noise can be a nuisance if you are not prepared with earplugs. I don’t put this in negatives because you as a traveler must always carry earplugs with you - good insulation and perfectly quiet places are rare, especially in such towns. And remedy is very simple - earplugs.

Love the rooftop terrace and the stray cat that would visit us. The room was spacious and cozy. The host was very accommodating and friendly - would always say hello and ask if we needed anything! Location was great as well. Other people mention the street noise in their review. While there is definitely a bit of noise, if the balcony door is shut it's fairly quiet. I'm a pretty light sleeper and this wasn't an issue for me.
