Since the house is in the middle of nature so there’s no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, but you can purchase dinner and breakfast, Taku’s wife, Kaori, makes very delicious and healthy food, must try it!

It is clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay, such as extra blankets, pots and pans. Location is in a quiet area not far from city centre. A laundromat is within walking distance. Unit has a washer, but not a dryer so a laundromat was handy. You do need a car however, to get around. Most important, the rates are really affordable. The walk is a bit long (20 mins) from the rail station but it's located not too far from main road, and hosts many shopping stores and convenient stores. Staff allowed us to checking a bit before the official checkin time (to be noted as some Japanese hotels would only do it exactly at 3pm).

The best part was probably the bathroom. The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the train station and offers a nice view on the city, thanks to large windows. Though it is right in the city center, it is very quiet.
