It’s beautiful! The Japanese architectural details are so lovely. I learned a lot about the hotel and the design. The history of furniture in their family. The husband and wife who run Shioriya are so kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond. It was truly a great place to stay. I started my day smiling with them every day.

The hosts are kind of local celebrities and everyone knows them, so it was a lot of fun staying there. The hosts provided a space heater and there was a room heater as well, so we were well taken care of. The property is very clean as well.JoeGroup

Tyler our host went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay and was able to help us with our itinerary. The onsens were amazing and such a beautiful relaxing part of our day. The kids game room was a bonus. There was also onsite parking which was brilliant. Overall we felt so incredibly welcome and I would highly recommend staying here.KatieFamily with young children
