The breakfast, buffet, was excellent. There were so many rich selections of foods. The room was large and quiet. & Clean! The hot spring is real and good! Free shuttle service and local Ninmaru bus go to Uenoshi train station from the property. We used the shuttle when we arrived, and we took a Ninmaru bus, 200yen, for seeing Ninjya the next early morning.

It’s not your ordinary hotel room. It’s an olden day house with a twist, ninja hidden doors and tricks. Host provided ninja costume for everyone of us. Bathroom is shared with host. It’s suitable for one night stay. I’m not sure if you can get there by public transport because we drove. Parking is not too far away from the house. My kids had lots of fun playing pretend. Host is friendly.

Great location for Iga-Ueno castle and museum. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of nearby outlets for food when hotel restaurant closed, and of course a 'Famima' nearby. Plenty of free parking. Good breakfast both Western and Japanese. Well-equipped bathroom, large towels too.
