The guesthouse is a beautiful, traditional house. Lovely and cool in the heat. Location was amazing - really close to the main shopping street and shrines, minutes from the ferry, but very quiet and peaceful Breakfast was plentiful and filling, with all of us well catered for including a toddler and vegetarian. Without a doubt their restaurant served the best food we have had in Japan so far. The island itself is an unexpected amazing place to visit and an easy trip from Hiroshima if you are an oyster lover it’s the place for you. This guest house is within easy access to ferry terminals and very central.

Staff were very nice, as most tourists don't stay during the night not a lot of restaurants are open but they gave us a map with recommendations and opening hours. Close to the torii, the ferry and the main street with shops and restaurants. Traditionnal room with tatami and futon was very comfortable and quiet. Very good value for money as it was one of the cheapest hotel available.

The guest house is quiet though central located. Just a few minutes walk to the shrine and the sea. We followed the Google map and walked along the seaside and it’s not difficult to find. We met few friendly deers along the way near the guest house. We will returned soon to revisit this lovely island.
