Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Tajimi Guest House is set in the middle of nature, 3 km from Tajimi Station. Nyakuichioji Shrine is beside the property and a mountain stream flows through the property premises.

The property was beautiful and thoughtful. The mid-century furniture and beautiful ceramics on display made the accommodation feel very peaceful and homely. The doors opened up onto a peaceful garden with a creek running through it. Will definitely return next time we are in Japan. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

Stayed here twice. Yumiko and Suguru were both so kind and helpful throughout the stay – they were great hosts, always sharing snacks and night-time chats with me. I'm so thankful for their care and hospitality throughout my stay. If you like interacting with locals, and finding out more about Japanese craft and culture, stay here! It's a beautiful, restful home.

It’s a quiet location, which is nice. First time in years that I have slept without earplugs. Good to know: you can not bathe at the guesthouse. I was a bit scared of using the Onsen at first, but ended up loving it. The hosts are such nice people. They made my stay even better, thank you so much.

Kuretake Inn includes a wonderful breakfast with a welcoming atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. We appreciated the rooftop onsen baths, the relaxation room and the many amenities they offer.

Great location, nice extras like a relaxation room and public bath on the top floor. Its location is great, right next to the train station, and the breakfast is solid. I always like the fact that they incentivise skipping room cleaning by giving you a free drink if you don't have your room cleaned. All in all it's a good hotel that is nice and functional (but nothing fancy or design-led).

The room was spacious, with a large table, a pair of single beds, refrigerator, sink, and toilet room. The room is adorned with many hundreds of art books and magazines reflecting the owner's tastes. The sliding glass door to the back yard offers a pretty and peaceful view of nature. Free parking with plenty of space is just across the street. The neighborhood is very quiet.

Yumiko san was the best host one could ever have being in a new city. She was warm and very welcoming and helped me greatly during my stay. We had extremely interesting and warm-hearted conversations despite my lack of Japanese and her lack of English. I couldn’t ask for more. :)
