Lovely place in Naoshima. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is very good! They rent bicycles for the day which is a plus. Highly recommend!

The house and facilities are fantastic! Clean, convenient location and our host was very accommodating, generous with his time and gave us great recommendations and directions on how to get around. He told us how things work on island too, which was helpful information. It was all very much appreciated. My daughter and I will definitely recommend ‘One Rest House Private House’ to our friends and family. Thank you again for having us and making us feel so welcome at One Rest and on the island!

She picked up our HEAVY luggage from the station so we could go to the art islands immediately after arriving in Tamano and she gave some really helpful advice for our itenary. Some earplugs (provided in the room) are helpful as there are paper walls seperating the rooms, but for us that was part of the charm. Breakfast was also nice. Would definately recommend this place!

Brisk 15 minute walk to the station in the morning. Yuki also made a restaurant reservation for us and drove us to it. Downstairs rooms are divided by traditional Japanese paper walls.
