Super nice room and bathroom. Breakfast room is very cosy and also offers a nice bar and biljart. Breakfast was really nice with all kind of fresh options, and the home made scramble eggs with bacon. In the same street there are some nice restaurants with terras. I very much enjoyed the dinner in restaurant "Bie de Burgemeester". Excellent food and wines.

Wow! So spacious! After several nights in hotel rooms, it was such a luxury to find a full apartment with room to dance. The suite is located inside a private home but it didn’t feel part of it. Our stay at Guesthouse De Wissen was amazing! We had a very peaceful time there. Self check-in, super comfortable bed, the room had nice light during the day and was very dark to sleep. The kitchen had everything we needed, including condiments and oil to cook. We loved having a dishwasher so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Also the decoration was really pretty. Outside we had a nice view of the lake and we could reach easily Hoge Kempen with our car, just in 10 minutes. Since it is a rather small place, you could hear noise coming from the kitchen which can be annoying at sleeping hours. But the owners are super friendly, responsive and helpful in case other guests are making a lot of noise outside.
