What I liked about the property is what I also disliked about the property, it was isolated. Since I did not come with a car, getting food was a challenge the first day of arrival. I was tired from travel, no food in the fridge, 3.5 kilometres to the grocer, no taxi in town. It was a Monday when most places were closed. I found a place that delivered. I was not aware of this food situation when I booked or I would have shopped prior to coming to the property. Petra, the owner, kindly picked me up at the bus stop. Petra also kindly took me to the hospital for x-rays. She was a breath of fresh air. The family was not intrusive, but welcoming when I entered their space.

    Crispy fresh bread from the nearest bakery made otherwise standard Dutch b&b breakfast a thing to remember. The host is very pleasant. Rooms have dreamy, childish in a good way design - a perfect place to forget about your troubles and live in the moment. Surrounding area has a lot to offer - farms, castle, small towns with good cafes.
