I loved the hospitality of Mara, the host of Eide Gard. Who gave me some very good tips for nice spots in the area of Skjolden. Particularly Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark and a very helpful app for hiking routes.

The interior design of our room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the view in the morning was breathtaking. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen which everybody can use, including the fridge, where you can put your food which needs cooling.

We had a great stay, the guest house and rooms are charming, comfortable and clean. The house does not offer restaurant services but you can find a grocery store in the village and use the large and fully equipped kitchen or go to the nice restaurant of the hotel nearby.
